Naturally this one statistic doesn’t tell the whole story. Little old New Zealand comes in at a solid 21st place (out of 174 countries), with 120 Mbps. Hong Kong takes second place at 192 Mbps, while perhaps surprisingly Thailand comes in a third place with 171 Mbps. Usual suspect Singapore takes out the top spot at an average of 208 Mbps download speed – they have had a focus on widespread high speed internet for many years now, which the rest of the world is only just catching up to now.
